Our Doctor
Dr Joshua Lim Geok Bin obtained his MBBS in 1983. After gaining experience in a wide range of medical postings in Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Emergency Medicine, ENT and Community Medicine, Dr Lim started his own family practice in 1990 in the bustling town of Pasir Ris. Today, this clinic is a thriving practice providing both general medicine and aesthetic services.
Dr Lim also earned a diploma in Family Medicine from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 1992. His interest in dermatology led him to pursue a post-graduate diploma in Family Practice Dermatology at the National University of Singapore in year 2000. In 2005, he received his Graduate Diploma in Practical Dermatology from Cardiff University, Wales, UK.
Dr Lim began to focus on aesthetic medicine in early 2000 and has a keen interest in helping patients enhance their looks. To Dr Lim, external beauty is not just about vanity, but it is instrumental in boosting his patients’ self-esteem and confidence. He now makes it his mission to help patients improve their looks, restore their youthfulness and enhance their natural beauty through the use of non-surgical, non-invasive treatments that are safe and effective.
Dr Lim’s avid interest in aesthetic medicine spurs him to upgrade his skills continually by attending courses in laser, Botox, fillers, laser lipolysis, etc. He actively sources for the latest equipment that offers new and effective treatment modalities and choices for his patients.
His aesthetic clinic is located in the premier shopping belt in Orchard Road and offers minimally invasive treatments for skin rejuvenations and lifting, treatment of acne and pigmentation problems, facial enhancements with Botox and fillers, slimming and body contouring treatments to both local and foreign customers.
Dr Lim is an unassuming and approachable person. He is greatly admired by his patients for his dedication and care he takes to address their concerns. Yet, despite his busy schedule Dr Lim still makes time to volunteer at the Muscular Dystrophy Association (Singapore), a self-help organization that provides care and supports people suffering from muscular dystrophy. He is involved in raising funds for the organization and is an active board member for many years.
